1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, username, profile details, study progress, quiz activity, journal entries, community posts, reports, and messages. If you choose a media feature, we process the photos, videos, or audio you select or record. We also receive basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

2. Sensitive and Patient Information

So Know is an educational service, not a clinical record system. Do not enter, upload, record, or share protected health information or information that can identify a patient. Community content may be reviewed or removed to enforce our safety rules.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide accounts and app features, save learning progress, personalize study tools, process subscriptions, moderate community content, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability.

4. Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services; RevenueCat and Apple for subscription processing; and hosting, email, moderation, or AI processing providers when a feature requires them. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Apple handles payment credentials; So Know does not receive your full payment-card details.

5. Community Content

Content you post in community areas may be visible to other users according to the feature you use. Reports and moderation records are accessible only for safety and administration purposes. Blocking a user limits their content and interactions in your experience.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and user content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Some security, transaction, or legal records may be retained where required by law. Content already shared with or copied by others may not be fully recoverable after deletion.

7. Your Choices and Account Deletion

You can update profile information in the app and delete your account from Settings. Account deletion permanently removes the authentication account and associated app data covered by our deletion process. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple. You may also contact support to request access, correction, or deletion assistance.

8. Device Permissions

Camera, microphone, and photo-library access are requested only when you choose a feature that needs them. You can change permission access in iOS Settings. So Know does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so avoid sharing confidential clinical or patient information.

10. Children

So Know is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has created an account.

11. Contact and Changes
