1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using So Know, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application.

2. Educational Purpose

So Know provides general educational study aids. It is not a medical device, clinical decision-support tool, patient record, or substitute for qualified training, supervision, professional judgment, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use app content to make patient-care decisions or respond to an emergency.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Content Accuracy

Educational content may be incomplete, simplified, or outdated. We do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, clinical applicability, or alignment with current exam requirements. Users must verify medical information with current authoritative sources and follow applicable laws, professional standards, institutional policies, and qualified supervision.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use So Know for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the application. You will not share patient information or any confidential medical data through the platform.

6. User-Generated Content Policy

So Know allows users to share content through forums, study groups, video clips, and other community features. By using these features, you agree to the following:

Zero Tolerance Policy: So Know has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not tolerate content that is offensive, obscene, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

Prohibited Content: You may not post, upload, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of privacy
• Contains hate speech, discrimination, or promotes violence
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains patient identifiable information (PHI) or violates HIPAA
• Is spam, misleading, or fraudulent
• Impersonates any person or entity

Content Moderation: All user-generated content is subject to moderation and filtering. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice. Our moderation team reviews reported content within 24 hours.

Reporting and Blocking: You can report objectionable content or abusive users using the reporting feature available throughout the app. When you block a user, their content is immediately hidden from your feed and they cannot interact with your content.

Account Termination: Users who violate these content policies will have their content removed and may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our sole discretion. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned from the platform.

7. Subscriptions

Premium access is offered through auto-renewing subscriptions purchased with your Apple ID. The price, billing period, and any introductory offer shown in the purchase screen come directly from the App Store. Payment is charged when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting your So Know account does not cancel an active App Store subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of So Know are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, So Know shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the application.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of So Know after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
